Over the course of the Foundation Year, we discover the power of the spoken word, build skills for connecting through communication, and develop an artistic approach to living language.
Our Foundation Curriculum includes:
Exploring how the phrases, words, and sounds of our speech create dynamic meaning
Experiencing the relationships among movement, gesture, and speaking
Discovering the nature and role of the spoken word in dialogue between oneself and others
Developing an awareness of one's breath and voice
Raising into consciousness the form, rhythm, and movement of speech
The Foundation Year program takes place from September to June. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on class schedule, tuition, and housing.
