- RUMI

We offer a variety of workshops throughout the year, exploring themes including epic and lyric poetry, dramatic encounter, and storytelling. This is a wonderful experience in cultivating our relationship to the spoken word that can support many areas of life. All levels of experience welcome!

Consonants: Earth and Air with Barbara Renold

January 26-27, 2019

By enlivening our speaking of consonants, we have a tool to create imaginative pictures of the natural world through speech. Working with consonantal sounds can evoke experiences of the four Greek categories of elements: earth, water, air and fire. During this weekend, we will concentrate on the qualities of earth and air with speech exercises and poetry.

Schedule:   Saturday 9:30-5:30, Sunday 9:30-12

Location: Red Barn, Hungry Hollow Road, Chestnut Ridge, NY

Cost: $90-115 (sliding scale)
